Is the "Energy of Fear" Ruling you?

By now most everyone is considering at least three questions;

1-Am I going to wear a mask when I go back to ____________? (Fill in the blank with any place you might go where there will be other people.)

2-As stir crazy as I am, when am I going to go anywhere besides the grocery store?

3-When I see my friends/family/clients, etc. - will I hug them?

These are the top three questions I've asked myself. I'm sure you have others. I also don't have stable concrete answers to them. I consider myself fortunate. I've made good use of the time in quarantine by getting my two new books published, and I'm still working on the publicity part. Questions that are also spinning around in my head and pertain to me are:

-When will I schedule a book launch party? And should I?

-When will I go back to having my healing business classes and Meetups in person?

-How am I going to recover from having no metaphysical fairs to work in? (They were my main source of income last year, and I'm most certainly feeling the difference!) Two of them tried to reschedule from March to June and have now been cancelled again. One is still pending, but I'm not feeling very confident about it.

-When will my critique group go back to meeting in person? I miss them!

-Will the conferences that haven't been cancelled yet be able to happen? (I've already purchased the airline ticket for the National Black Book Festival in Houston this October-and there was no insurance available for that ticket, so... I'm hoping it doesn't cancel!) Then there's the 2020 Colorado Writing Workshop in July that I am speaking and participating in that hasn't cancelled as of yet.

For me, I will keep writing-"Freedom Rings: Book Three of The Circle" is in progress. I've dusted off my cooking skills and can still produce a mean lasagne that my boys loved, and now my granddaughters are loving. I reach out to folks when they cross my mind, no matter how long it's been since we last spoke. I've learned how to Zoom, Skype, Facetime, and Messenger chat, so I can see the faces of whoever I'm talking with, if they want to share that way. I'll continue to do my classes and healing sessions online-energy doesn't care about distance or walls, so it works! I've re-opened my office for one-on-one sessions for those who are comfortable with that (and feeling well!). I take walks with the twins and the dogs. I spend time just standing in the sunlight, moonlight, and rain. I still look at all the wild bunnies around here and gauge whether they might be good in some gravy. (Even if I never really do that!)

We must all consider and pay attention to how the energy of fear is used against us. The media hypes it, lifts it, and uses it to create the 'herd' mentality that allows more control over us. Everything political is tinged with it. Some days are so full of it that we are physically reacting to things that we never paid attention to in the past. Altogether, we are all just doing the best we can with what is happening around us and affecting us. Do what you can to keep the negative out of your head. Listen to, watch, and participate in things that make you feel good. Even if it's only a little.

I take each day as it comes because tomorrow is not promised to any of us. Whether it comes has a little to do with me and my decisions, like-yes, I will wear a mask! But it has more to do with The Creator and when it's my time to go. So, I push the energy of fear behind me and step forward because that's better than standing still and letting it take bites out of me without putting up a fight.
